Enable - Engage - Enrich - How I Sell - Part 1
NAVRAS The 9 Box Assessment
Sales is something we all do. Be it in business environment, convincing our customers to buy from us, or in our personal / social space, persuading others to accept our choices. We may do it inadvertently, we may do it because we must, or we may do it because we enjoy doing it - whatever be the reason we do get into these kind of transactions almost every day.
The style we adopt when dealing with such situations depends on five important factors. Our objective; our Decision making skills; our anxiety management skills; our conflict management skills; and our self - management skills.
Please read the 9 statements under each section and RANK THEM IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE AND PRIORITY. Put 9 against the statement that you think is the most important and you would give it the topmost priority in usual selling situations. Rank the other statements in DESCENDING ORDER. Put 1 against the statement that is the least important to you and would give the lowest priority in usual selling situations.
THAT IS IF YOU HAVE GIVEN STATEMENT NUMBER 9, RANK OF 8, THEN YOU CANNOT GIVE THE SAME RANK OF 8 TO ANY OTHER STATEMENT IN THAT SECTION.
If you are accessing this assessment from a mobile phone, then it is recommended that you hold your handset horizontally. This is likely to help you see all the 9 options together without scrolling.
Please also note that there are no ideal ways of ranking these statements, and rank them in order of what you actually do, NOT on how you would want to do.
